Holy Trinity member Katelyn Anderson currently lives in Rhode Island, and attends the Chinese Christian Church of Rhode Island.  With 15 other people from the congregation, Katelyn recently traveled to Taiwan, where the group taught Vacation Bible School!

 

The first VBS location was in Liugui, where the Rhode

Islanders were hosted by a local children’s home, and taught children from the home and the local community at a nearby elementary school.  The second location was at a church in Chiayi. 

 

Over the course of their two-week visit, the group led “Stellar,” an outer space-themed curriculum.  The children learned key phrases such as “Shine Jesus’s Light” in English.  Katelyn helped lead the “Imagination Station,” which combined

laboratory experiments with arts & crafts.
